I embarked on my journey with Lidion Bank two years ago, joining as an IT Officer. What drew me to this role was the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and expanding organization, leveraging my skills and experience to support its growth while continuing to advance my own professional development.
2. What is your role at Lidion Bank, and what are your primary responsibilities?
I currently work as an IT officer. My primary responsibilities include the managing and maintaining of the organization's IT systems and networks, troubleshooting technical issues, providing hardware and software support, ensuring cybersecurity, and conducting regular backups. I also assist with user support and training, managing system upgrades, ensuring compliance with policies, and coordinating with external vendors.
3. What does a typical day or week look like for you in your role?
A typical day involves monitoring systems, responding to support tickets, and performing routine maintenance like updates and backups. I also provide user support, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring network security. My role also involves coordinating with vendors, attending meetings, and documenting daily tasks and incidents. The day may vary based on system performance or urgent issues.
4. What do you enjoy most about working at Lidion Bank?
What I enjoy most about working at Lidion Bank is the sense of fulfilment that comes from resolving complex issues and supporting my colleagues. It is highly rewarding to know that my efforts contribute to their success and help the organization achieve its goals. Additionally, I value being part of a collaborative and supportive team, where everyone works together and is always willing to help one another.

Outside of work, I am passionate about traveling abroad to new destinations and immersing myself in different cultures. I also have a strong interest in gaming, enjoying both competitive and cooperative play. This hobby has allowed me to connect with people I might never have encountered otherwise, forming meaningful relationships through shared experiences.

One aspect of my background that few people are aware of is that I originally aspired to be a software developer before transitioning my focus to hardware-related studies.
