Over the past six months, I've had the opportunity to work with a talented and dedicated team, while gaining valuable experience in the Banking industry. It's been a rewarding journey so far, and I look forward to continuing to grow and contribute to the Bank's success.
2. What is your role at Lidion Bank, and what are your primary responsibilities?
As Senior Risk Officer at Lidion Bank, my key responsibilities include managing risks across credit, operational, and market domains. I contribute to the development and implementation of risk policies and conduct assessments to identify vulnerabilities in the Bank's operations and processes. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, I evaluate and prioritize risks, actively participating in the implementation and monitoring of controls. In partnership with the Head of Risk, I review risk strategies, recommend adjustments, and ensure regulatory compliance, supporting a strong control environment.
3. What does a typical day or week look like for you in your role?
A typical week involves conducting risk assessments, monitoring key risk indicators, and collaborating with teams to implement controls. I work closely with the Head of Risk to review risk strategies, ensure compliance with regulations, and make necessary adjustments. I also provide guidance to business units.

What I enjoy most about working at Lidion Bank is the variety of tasks and responsibilities. No two days are the same, which keeps the work engaging and challenging. Additionally, the welcoming culture and the open-mindedness of people is something which I appreciate.
