We're looking for a proactive and dedicated Head of Product reporting to the COO to join our team. In this role, you'll will manage the conceptualisation, development, and management of the bank’s product portfolio to ensure it meets market demands and supports the bank's strategic objectives.

‍‍‍Position: Head of Product

‍Primary Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing products, based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.

• Lead the planning and execution of product development projects from concept through launch.

• Work closely with the technology department to leverage the latest technological advances for product innovation.

• Build, mentor, and lead a product management team capable of carrying out the necessary activities to achieve the Bank’s product goals.

• Serve as the key product driver both internally and externally.

• Keep a pulse on the financial industry’s trends and market dynamics to ensure the bank’s products remain competitive and innovative.

• Integrate customer insights into product development to ensure that customer needs are met.

• Ensure all products comply with relevant laws and regulations and with the support from the legal and compliance teams,as may be required.

• Work closely with the compliance and legal departments to address any regulatory issues that may arise during product development.

• Define key performance indicators (KPIs)for product success and monitor performance.

• Use metrics to guide business strategies and make adjustments as necessary.

‍Core Competencies:

• Possess a High-Level work ethics, professional integrity,   

• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills to coordinate, interact and drive for outcome with a variety of stakeholders and senior management 

• Well organized and delivery-focused, with attention to detail  

• Strong written / verbal communicationand reporting skills  

• Detailed and process-oriented individualwith strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

• Project management skills and ability to achieve project targets with time pressure  

• Good understanding of data management and data storage control is an advantage 

‍Education and Experience:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.  

• Extensive experience in product management within the banking or financial services industry at least 5 years of experience working in similar position  

• Proven track record of successful product launches and management.
