We are seeking a dedicated and visionary Head of IT to lead our strategic planning, development, and implementation of information systems and technology. This pivotal role involves managing the overall technology strategy to align with our business goals and objectives. The Head of IT will oversee all IT operations, infrastructure, and support, ensuring technological innovation and efficiency across the Bank.


Position: Head of IT

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

• Lead and manage the IT team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

• Collaborate with senior management to integrate technology solutions that support business needs.

• Oversee the maintenance, administration, and monitoring of the IT environment and systems.

• Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems and infrastructure.

• Manage the financial aspects of the IT department, including budgeting, forecasting, and budget reviews.

• Lead the development and enhancement of systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

• Oversee systems upgrades, installations, conversions, and file maintenance.

• Develop and implement standard operating procedures and best practices, including written protocols and guidelines.

• Stay current with the latest technologies and industry trends to identify and implement innovative solutions.

• Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions to meet business and system requirements.

• Drive the adoption of cloud infrastructure and other emerging technologies.

• Negotiate and manage vendor, outsource, and consultant contracts and service agreements.

• Ensure the delivery of high-quality services from third-party providers.

• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures, including those for security, disaster recovery, and service provision.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

• Oversee the security of network, systems, and data, implementing robust security measures.

• Supervise and provide high-level support for end-user services, including help desk and technical support.

• Resolve escalated technical issues, coordinating with vendors as necessary.

• Maintain systems compliance with security policies and procedures.

Education and Core Experiences :

Core Competencies:

• Strategic vision and passion for technology and innovation.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.

• Problem-solving attitude and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

Education and Experience:

• Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT management, with a proven track record of leadership.

• Extensive experience in the financial services or banking industry is preferred.

• Proven track record in managing IT infrastructure, ensuring secure connections, overseeing disaster recovery solutions in hybrid & multi cloud architecture.

• Deep understanding of the technical architecture of API integrations.

• Strong background in Windows OS and Windows Server OS.

• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite, Azure, and SharePoint Online.

• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale IT projects and budgets

• Experience with SIEM solutions and Cyber AI technologies is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with tools like Intune, Windows Autopilot, Atlassian Jira, GitHub, Prometheus, and Graphana is a plus.
