We're looking for a dedicated and service-oriented Application Test Specialist. The specialist will be crucial to ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. This role aims to enhance user experience and maintain the integrity of our applications by rigorously testing software, identifying issues, and collaborating with development teams to implement effective solutions.
Position: Application Testing Specialist
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for banking applications including Oracle Flexcube, Atlassian Jira, SWIFT services, and others.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify and report defects and ensure the stability and reliability of our applications.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Automate test cases where possible to improve efficiency and scalability of testing processes.
• Participate in the analysis and resolution of defects, working closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Document test results, track defects, and provide regular status updates to project stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Core Competencies:
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools like Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field..
• Provenexperience in software testing roles, with a focus on banking or financialapplications preferred.
• ISTQB or similar certification is a plus.
